Civil War US “Bullseye” Canteen - Inventory Number: CAN 154 / SOLD
Civil War Union 7-ring canteen. This is the classic style known to collectors as the "Bullseye” pattern with the reinforcement rings stamped on each side. It still has all three of the original strap loops present. The pewter spout bears the maker’s mark of R. H. Gratz Philadelphia. The canteen has a couple of dings and dents from service. A representative and well used Civil War canteen.
