Rare pair of Civil War Smith’s patent shoulder straps for a colonel Smith’s straps featured a stamped brass false embroidery with velvet background and proved very popular with officers during the war. This pair is in excellent condition with either silver or silver plated frames and eagles over a black velvet background and are backed with black wool. Perfect for display on an officer’s frock coat or on their own.

Comes housed in a 6 x 8 inch display case with black velvet backing and descriptive card.
