The most desired of the U.S. Belt plates, the “Dragoon” example. This near mint specimen retains nearly all of the original gold gilt finish. The reverse has a pair of stud hooks behind the letter “S” due to the weight of the equipment falling on this side. It would be hard to upgrade from this example.
