Bound in speckled marbled boards, w/ new endpapers, 16.25” x 12, w/black buckram spine & black leather gilt spine label: “Harper’s Weekly/ Vol. VI.” Exhibits light wear, Else VG & solid. The iconic newspaper of the American Civil War with A window into a critical period in American history, with articles and woodcut illustrations by illustrators such as Winslow Homer, Alfred Waud & Thomas Nast, revealing to the American people the battles, soldiers, politics, commerce, literature and styles of the times.
