Hymns, Religious and Patriotic, for the Soldier and Sailor. Published by the American Tract Society, 28 Cornhill, Boston. Cloth bound, pocket sized hymn book measuring 5” by 3 ¼” with the note "Patty this book belonged to your Great Uncle John Neely who fought in the Civil War."

John Neely Residence Butler County PA; a 25 year-old Farmer. Enlisted on 10/29/1861 as a Private. On 10/29/1861 he mustered into "H" Co. PA 101st Infantry. He was Mustered Out on 11/17/1864.

Comes housed in a 8 x 12 riker display case with red velvet and descriptive card.
