Confederate Veterans Ribbon – Inventory Number: CON 132 / SOLD United Confederate Veterans New Orleans May 19th 1903  This is a rare 1903 UCV (United Confederate Veterans) New Orleans National Reunion medal. Formed in 1889, the UCV was the Confederate answer to the Union’s Grand Army of the Republic. This medal has a medallion hanging from a pale blue silk ribbon and a “VETERAN” bar at the top. The reverse of the lightweight medallion has a Milwaukee maker mark. It also shows a mother pelican and her hatchlings beneath the motto “Justice, Union and Confidence”, the flag design of the State of Louisiana. Ribbon fractured. Inventory Number: CON 132 / SOLD
