Eagle Breast Plate – Maker Marked – Inventory Number: BEL 269 / SOLD Battle of Chancellorsville, VA Eagle breastplate designed for use on the cartridge box sling.  Excavated by Ray Smith on the Chancellorsville Battlefield in the early 1970’s.  Nice condition example and well stamped “Boyd & Sons, Boston”.  Both original iron loops are present on the reverse.   Inventory Number: BEL 269 / SOLD
